Types of programs

Four ways to support emerging legal talent.

Start with one program or combine them into a broader partnership.

  • Scholarships

Support students' educational and career-related costs, with selection criteria agreed in writing before a scholarship opens.

  • Events

Fund legal-community programming where students and attorneys meet in person and professional connections begin.

  • Career access

Support practical opportunities, development programs and professional experiences for students building a legal career.

  • Strategic partnerships

Explore a broader relationship with Embra that combines several programs around shared goals.

Your support at work

Concrete programs, for people you can name.

What a sponsor can fund

Examples. Each program is scoped with you.

  • A named scholarship for law students
  • A practice-area panel or networking evening
  • Travel or materials that help students attend professional events
  • A development program run with practicing attorneys
  • A multi-program partnership across a year

Who benefits

The people a program is built around.

  • Law students, including those outside traditional pipelines
  • Attorneys who want structured ways to give back
  • Law schools whose students gain wider professional access
  • The legal community, through relationships that last beyond one event

Recognition

Visible support, on terms you agree.

Recognition is part of every proposal and is never more than what is agreed in writing.

  • Named programs

A scholarship or program can carry your organization's name, as agreed in writing.

  • Event recognition

Acknowledgment at the events you support, in the form your proposal sets out.

  • Agreed visibility

Mentions in Embra communications where your proposal includes them, always labeled as sponsorship.

How programs are scoped

From first conversation to final report.

  1. Step 1: Goals

A conversation about what you want to support, who it should reach and how you want to be involved.

    You and Embra

  2. Step 2: Proposal

A written proposal with the program, deliverables, recognition, reporting and pricing.

    Before anything starts

  3. Step 3: Delivery

Embra runs the program and keeps you updated on the milestones agreed in the proposal.

  4. Step 4: Report

A written report on how the funds were used and what the program delivered.

    At the end

Reporting

Know what your support delivered.

Every sponsor receives a written report. It contains counts and summaries, never private messages.

  • How funds were used

A plain account of what your sponsorship paid for, against the proposal.

  • Who took part

Participation counts for the events or programs you funded.

  • Student stories, with consent

Where students agree, a short account of what the program meant to them.

Ethics and transparency

Support that never buys influence.

Students and attorneys need to trust that every introduction is genuine. These rules hold for every sponsorship.

  • No influence over mentorship

Sponsorship never changes which mentors students see, how requests are handled, or what any attorney recommends.

  • No access to private conversations

Sponsors do not see student messages or receive student details without the student's consent. Embra does not sell personal data.

  • Always disclosed

Sponsored programs and recognition are labeled as sponsored. Embra lists a sponsor only with a signed agreement.
