Embra Law for attorneys
Share experience. Build relationships. Strengthen the profession.
Embra Law is a professional network where attorneys meet the people entering the law, on their own terms. You choose who you mentor, how many, and when.
Free for attorneys. Bar admission confirmed by our team.

Why attorneys take part
A professional membership, not a volunteer queue.
Embra Law is built around your judgment and your time. You are a member of a professional network, not a resource students draw on.
Pay forward what someone did for you
Most attorneys can name the person who explained the profession to them. You can be that person for a student who would not otherwise meet you.
Know the people entering the profession
Build real relationships with students who are thoughtful about their careers, across schools and backgrounds.
Strengthen the profession
A wider path into law makes for a stronger bar. Mentorship is one of the most direct ways to widen it.
The relationships
Career conversations, with people you choose.
Students ask about the decisions in front of them. You choose the topics you are glad to discuss.
Law school
Whether to go, how to choose, and how to get through the first year.
Recruiting and first jobs
Summer positions, clerkships, interviews and the first role.
Practice areas and paths
What your work is really like, and the paths into it, from firms to in-house to public interest.
How it works
Four steps to a real conversation.
Step 1: Create your profile
Share your practice, experience, education and the topics you are glad to discuss.
Step 2: Get verified
Enter your bar number. The Embra team confirms your admission before you can accept requests.
Step 3: Review requests
Students send a short written note. You read it and accept or decline.
Step 4: Start the conversation
Once you accept, you and the student can message each other in the app.
Your controls
Mentorship on your terms.
What you can do in the app today.
Requests
Every request, in one place.
Each request comes with a short note from the student about who they are and what they hope to learn. You accept the ones that fit and decline the rest.

Capacity and availability
Set your capacity. Step back when you need to.
Choose how many students you mentor at once, and turn off new requests whenever your calendar is full.

Standards
Verified, bounded and private.
Credential verification
Every attorney gives a bar number at signup and agrees to the terms, including an attestation about their admission. The Embra team confirms admission with the state bar or licensing authority before the attorney can accept requests.
Professional boundaries
Conversations are about careers. Mentorship is not legal advice, no attorney-client relationship is formed, and every conversation shows that note.
Privacy and consent
Your bar number is used for verification and is not shown on your profile. A student can message you only after you accept their request, and you can report, block or mute anyone.
What it costs
Participation is free for attorneys.
Your time is the contribution. Embra does not charge attorneys to take part.
